To define the dashboard flow, I reviewed popular tools like Notion, Google Analytics, and Linear. I also spoke with a few startup founders and marketers to understand what they use dashboards for. Most wanted:
A simple layout that highlights key metrics
Quick filters without digging through menus
A clean, mobile-friendly UI for fast updates on the go
I designed Analytix in Figma using a modular grid and card layout system. Each card holds a specific metric or chart, keeping the UI clean and digestible. The color palette uses subtle contrast to guide focus, and spacing is balanced for visual clarity. The design is responsive, with both light and dark modes considered.
The prototype was reviewed by peers from product and data backgrounds. They appreciated the clean visual hierarchy and said it felt more focused than typical BI tools. Based on feedback, I improved spacing and added quick-access filters for faster usability.
