To understand how users order fast food online, I interviewed 5 regular food delivery users. Most preferred quick, visual-first experiences and found large platforms cluttered when ordering simple items like burgers or fries. They wanted faster load times, fewer steps, and more engaging visuals. I also reviewed apps like Domino’s and Burger King, noting that while they had strong branding, the interfaces often felt outdated or too complex. This research inspired PrimeStack to focus on speed, simplicity, and fun animations that keep users engaged.
PrimeStack’s design combines bold visuals, smooth layout, and interactive motion to deliver a fun and intuitive ordering experience. Using Figma, I designed responsive screens with large food images, strong typography, and clear CTAs. The color palette includes warm tones like red, yellow, and brown to match the fast-food vibe and trigger appetite. Every section was kept minimal to reduce decision fatigue, while animations were added to bring the interface to life and create a more enjoyable journey from menu to checkout.

I tested PrimeStack with 4 users on both desktop and mobile. Each participant was asked to complete a mock order — from browsing to checkout. All users completed the task smoothly within 1–2 minutes. Feedback was positive on the interface clarity and visual appeal. One user suggested making the cart button sticky on scroll, which was implemented. The animated interactions were especially appreciated, with users saying it made the experience “fun and snacky.”
